Develop a Biblical Theology of Pastoral Compensation

Could the leaders of your church summarize in a few paragraphs what the Bible teaches about pastoral compensation?  If not, you may soon find yourself in an awkward meeting where people share from the authority of personal experience and subjective opinions.

To avoid such a meeting, every church should take the time to write down a one page summary of what  the Bible teaches about caring for their shepherd.  If you don’t know how to go about this task, then a good place to begin will be with a series of posts by the sometimes controversial but always articulate Doug Wilson. Notice how Wilson reflects biblically on the matter.
